| | Buying a property in Spain: What should I buy, where should it be situated, when should I buy it, and how do I go about it? These are the questions you ask yourself.
You can sit behind your computer and search the market using the Internet. This will work, you can certainly orient yourself to the market and the price, but a photo and a brief description does not tell you much. Situated 500 metres from the beach does not help you, if you have to climb 50 steps to get there and you have trouble walking.
You can, of cause travel to Spain and spend hours looking through estate agents windows, until you find something you are looking for, then go inside only to find out its just been sold, But!
The Spanish property market is large and still expanding, so somewhere is the property for you. So now you have found it, what do you need to know? Is it registered, are there plans for other building projects, roads etc, these are all the things you should know before signing the deeds. It takes a lot of time to do this and if there is a hitch then you start all over again. Its far more productive if you have an itinerary before you come to Spain and view the properties with one agent.

When you arrive in Spain, we can meet you at the Airport and will escort you to the properties you have chosen to view and at the end of the day we will evaluate with you, the properties that have been viewed and plan for the following day.
If you have found the property you were looking for then we can make up a contract that reserves the property for you while the registration of the land and property is being checked. This also gives you time to check on the financing of the purchase. This contract costs €3000, there is however a clause stating that the contract is only valid if the house is legal and the financing is possible, otherwise the contract is void and you get your money back.
